Walk in Peace

Do not those things which you know to be wrong. Do not wrong others. Do not steal, do not murder, do not what you know displeases Me. Why do My children desire to walk in sin when I have provided them a way out of every situation?

My children, do you not know that every sin brings consequences into your life? Do you not know that many times when you pray to Me to change a situation, I do not because you are reaping your just rewards?

Why do you make your life more difficult by continuing to sin? When you sow to the flesh, you shall also reap from it.

Sow to the spirit and live in joy. Do not as the wicked do, do not be unwise. I have provided all good things for you to enjoy richly, but you choose death instead of life.

Choose life, My children. Choose life, and walk in peace.

1 Corinthians 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Deuteronomy 30:19  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Hebrews 12:1  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Proverbs 22:8  He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.

Galatians 6:7-8
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Matthew 5:23  Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

Mark 10:19  Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.

  1. Hi, Glynda!
I try to read your words daily... or, read your daily words as soon as I can...
I am blessed by your words.
I have never asked a question, but now I have to!
I am troubled by the statement,
"Do you not know that many times when you pray to Me to change a situation, I do not because you are reaping your just rewards?"
In the New Testament, it is written many times that He (Jesus) healed "all"... All! No one was not healed because the person was "reaping their just rewards"! Jesus healed "all" who were oppressed by the devil... All!
So, please help me understand what this statement means!
    I appreciate your help!
    Thank you for your time...

  2. Don - The New Testament also says:

    Galatians 6:7-8

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Many times, healing does not come because that person is abusing their body. An example would be a diabetic who refuses to eat correctly, and Insists on eating candy bars all day. That's not properly caring for the temple, and God can't bless that. He won't heal someone so they can keep doing stupid stuff, so to speak. He has literally told me when I prayed for healing for someone once, "If I heal him, he will go back to his life of sin." And the man was never healed.

The Word gives us many promises, but often there is something we must do as well. The promises in the Old Testament often say, If you will heaken to Me, if you will obey all My commands and all My statutes, etc.

Grace gives us a lot, but the Lord is not going to give us something so we can abuse our bodies, or destroy ourselves with it through sin.

I hope this helps you to understand - Jesus bless you mightily,

    Glynda L.

  3. Sowing to the spirit also means that our mind is continually thinking only the word of God. When we give in to our feelings and emotions, circumstances, other peoples opinions --- we are not sowing to the spirit but to the flesh. We must continue to believe and think only the word of God. If we sow to the spirit, we will cast down every thought that exalts itself above the knowledge of God. Glynda also mentioned that sometimes there is something that we must do as well. We are working together with him and allowing him to perfect His word in us as we obey every commandment that he gives us. Abide in Him and and let his words abide in you and then you can ask anything you will and he will do it.
